PTFA Summer Festival!

Back
22nd Jun 2026

The PTFA Summer Festival is returning, Saturday 4th July, 12 - 4pm.

Please come along to support the school and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon. There are also ways you can get involved.

Our school community is beautifully diverse, and our upcoming Summer Festival is the perfect opportunity to celebrate that together.  Let's make this year's festival the most delicious yet! As well as wanting cold dishes from around the world—think everything from jerk chicken skewers and samosas to pierogi, soda bread or jollof rice—we'd love for you to bring a dish on Saturday 4th July at 12pm. If you can, please email ptfa@qpcs.brent.sch.uk to let us know what you are making, and please note: absolutely no nuts at all.  The PTFA is happy to refund ingredients costs if you bring receipts in with your dish on 4th July.

We need to be honest, this fantastic event simply cannot happen without your help. The good news? Most tasks are split into short, easy two-hour slots, meaning you will still have plenty of time to enjoy the day with your family—and honestly, volunteering behind the scenes is fun and a good way to meet new people from our QPCS community.  The PTFA is sharing links with parents and carers on how to sign up, look out for these and get involved.

There are exciting opportunities for students, with plans for an art exhibition, environmental ambassadors’ showcase, football, basketball, tennis and cricket, and a talent show.  We will also have a range of activities from our community partners, including some new surprise ones.

We are also officially open for donations and would love your support with the following:

•             Uniforms: We are collecting good quality used uniforms. A special appeal goes out to our Year 11 families - if your family no longer needs the uniform, please pass it on to us!

•             Bric-a-brac & Tombola Prizes: Please drop off good-quality bric-a-brac and small tombola items at school reception by 3rd July. Please bag/label them separately as 'Bric-a-brac' or 'Tombola'.

•             High-Quality Raffle Prizes: If you have a larger prize to donate, please drop it off at reception or email the PTFA.

•             Cakes & Plants: We would love for these to be brought in fresh on the actual day of the festival.

•             Lego: If you have any Lego you no longer use, we'd love to have it for our STEM activity on the day. The Lego would then be donated to the school's Lego Club. Please hand in to the school reception.
