We hold our Open Evening for Year 6 parents, carers and students in September. During this event, tour guides show families around the school to see the different faculties and displays and will endeavour to answer any questions parents, carers or students may have. There will be an opportunity to attend one of the two presentations held in the hall.
Further information, for Year 6 families applying for 2027 admissions, will be available in September.
This will be a drop-in event, with no need to book in advance.
Our Sixth Form Open Evening is held in November. This event is for all Year 11 students whether they are currently at QPCS or attending another secondary school. Further information about the Sixth Form Open Evening, as well as subject information and how to apply, will be available on the school’s website later this year.

Open day tours for Year 6 parents, carers and students are held during September and October, dates will be published on the school’s website in September. Families who book on an open day tour will be shown around the school to see various lessons in action.
Some of the open day tours will be led by the Assistant Headteacher SENCO, dates of which will be published in September.
Please note, all open day tours must be booked in advance. Parents and Carers are encouraged to bring their Year 6 child with them for a tour of the school.

Plan your route to QPCS - Please be aware that there are no parking facilities inside the school. There is parking outside the main entrance on Aylestone Avenue but you will need to pay and display.
