Safeguarding

At QPCS, the safety and wellbeing of our students is our paramount priority. We are committed to creating a secure, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every student can thrive, free from abuse, harm, or neglect.

Key Principles

Everyone's Responsibility: Safeguarding is the duty of all staff (teaching, support staff, and volunteers). Staff receive regular, comprehensive training to identify and respond to concerns.

Child-Centred Approach: We always act in the best interest of the child, listening to their voice and taking their concerns seriously.

Prevention is Key: We actively teach students how to stay safe, both online and in the real world, through a robust curriculum and pastoral support.

Our Stance on Bullying

QPCS has a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying in any form (physical, verbal, emotional, or cyberbullying). We are committed to fostering a climate of mutual respect and intervene swiftly and effectively whenever bullying is identified. Our goal is to resolve issues quickly, support the victim, and challenge the behaviour of the perpetrator.
