At Queens Park Community School our educational approach is centred around developing students who embody our core values of Responsibility, Resilience, and Respect. These values are integral to our curriculum, community life, and commitment to preparing students for life in modern Britain.

Our QPCS values link to British Values, which underpin what it is to be a citizen in a modern and diverse Britain. They allow us to create environments free from discrimination, intolerance and hate. They help us to challenge prejudice and stereotyping, whilst strengthening relationships within the community.
 

Responsibility and Student Voice

We teach our students to take responsibility for their own learning, actions, and the continuous improvement of the QPCS community.

• Democratic Participation: Student voice is highly valued, reflecting the British value of democracy.
• Rule of Law: Our students learn to be accountable for their words and actions, understanding how the British value of the rule of law applies to them.
   

Resilience and Individual Liberty

Students are taught to be resilient, empowering them to understand and protect their individual liberty and the rights of those around them.
