Hamlet!

The QPCS community pulled off a spectacular production of Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Under the visionary direction of Jon Griffiths, the cast brilliantly tackled the complex, heavy themes of grief, guilt, and the tense, troubled relationships within Hamlet’s family.

Through powerful, expressive movement pieces, developed alongside Ms. de Faoite, Ms. Bickram, and Ms. Duffus-Whynes, the ensemble took full ownership of the stage to bring Hamlet’s fractured world to life.

A True Community Effort

This show was a massive collaborative success both on and off the stage:

• The Soundtrack: Composed by students and led by Travis Clarke, setting a beautiful, atmospheric pace for the play.
• Backstage Crew: An incredibly eager team of students managed makeup, sets, and props, alongside dedicated alumni who returned to volunteer their time.

To our students: We are in awe of your passion and commitment. Rising to the challenge of such a complex Shakespearean text, mastering intense choreography, and exploring these heavy characters required immense maturity. Your performance was breathtaking.

To our parents: This production would have been impossible without you. Thank you for your incredible dedication, from managing late-night rehearsals and transportation to cheering us on from the audience.
