Queens Park Community School celebrated another year of academic excellence, with 20% of A Level grades at A*/A and 55% at A*-B, and an extremely positive predicted value-added score of around +0.25.

Our mathematicians and scientists excelled themselves this year. Two of our top female scientists are both off to Kings College London. DC achieved A* A* A* and will study physics with astrophysics and cosmology, and FO will read computer science, having achieved A*, A* A in psychology, computer science and maths. Meanwhile AH (A*, A*, A*, A), CM (A*, A*, A*, A) and AM (A*, A*, A, A) all achieved A* grades in maths and further maths. AH and CM have chosen to study mathematics at Imperial College London and Bristol University respectively, and AM is going to study Aerospace Engineering at Manchester University.

Across the year group, there was the usual exciting range of subjects chosen, from fine art at Manchester Metropolitan University to marine biology at Essex University.

Headteacher Ms Enright said:
“I am delighted for this year group, who have been exceptional leaders across our school community, and now have secured the grades to embark on their bright futures. Their progress and hard work has been truly impressive, and I wish them every success in the future."
