Due to current heatwave - Early school closure on Thursday 25th June at 12.15pm

Dear QPCS Parents/Carers

We are closing the school to students at 12:15pm on Thursday 25th June.  This is due to the current heatwave. 

Please remember to use google classroom in order to access on line learning resources.

The Year 7 science exam will be rescheduled. 

Remember too the school finishes slightly early at 1:30pm on Friday 26th June.

Students are advised to wear their red polo shirts and black tailored shorts in to school.  Students whose families have not yet bought black tailored shorts are encouraged to do so as the summers get hotter.  For this week only until Friday 26^th June 2026, students may wear their PE shorts.  All students should bring in a water bottle and a sunhat, and wear sunscreen.  Please see government advice for schools and families:  https://educationhub.blog.gov.uk/2026/06/hot-weather-and-heatwaves-guidance-for-schools-and-other-education-settings/
