BRIGHTON MARATHON

Two QPCS mums stood on the start line of the 2011 Brighton marathon in the brightest sunshine and blue skies. For Kate Kembery this was her first marathon, challenging conditions but a great course with fantastic crowds. Susan Kennedy was doing her eighth marathon and not happy running in the heat, pulled down her white cap and donned her sunglasses. Both did exceptionally well finishing in 4 hours 32 and 4 hours 20 respectively - the sun never stopped shining!

They raised over £900!

The money raised was put towards the refurbishment of the Sixth Form Common room.
