To apply for a place at Queens Park Community School
Applications will be made using the Local Authority common application form. These are provided by your Local Authority to the parents of Year 5 aged children in the summer prior to moving into Year 6. QPCS admits 208 students annually according to our admissions policy.
If you are a Brent resident, the quickest and easiest way to apply for a school place is online by visiting www.brent.gov.uk/admissions. Alternatively, you can telephone Brent School Admissions on 020 8937 3110 and they will post an application form and information pack to you.
Apart from attending our Open Evening, which is specifically for prospective parents, you are very welcome to view the school during the day. Open Day tours are arranged for Year 6 students and their families. For an appointment please telephone: 020 8438 1700.
In Year Admissions
'In Year Admissions' is the term used when children seek school places during the academic year.
Since September 2010, Brent Council has co-ordinated all in-year applications for secondary school admissions. This means that if your address is in Brent and you are applying for a secondary school place for your child, you will need to make an in-year school application http://www.brent.gov.uk/services-for-residents/family-and-schools/schools/apply-for-a-school-place/make-an-in-year-application/.
If you live outside of Brent, you must make an application to your local council, even if you want to apply to a Brent school.
